• Effective date: June 29, 2023
• Implementation required from:
• Large and medium-sized companies: from December 30, 2025
• Micro and small companies: from June 30, 2026

Companies will soon be required to meet extensive due diligence obligations, including:

• Geolocation of production areas (including polygon data for larger sites)
• Risk assessment for deforestation and legal compliance risks
• Risk mitigation measures (documentation, evidence, audits)
• Digital due diligence statement via the central EU information system (Art. 33 EUDR)
• Proof of legality in the product’s country of origin

Failure to comply may result in market access restrictions, fines, and reputational damage.
